About this data

Every figure on the Finances pages is compiled from public records — mostly filings the district submits to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). This page explains where each piece comes from and links to the original source so you can check it yourself.

Budget and revenue/expense figures

Revenue and expense category names and account codes follow PDE's official Chart of Accounts. The dollar amounts themselves come from two PDE filings: the district's adopted budget submission (General Fund Budget data) for budgeted figures, and the Annual Financial Report (AFR) for actual year-end figures once a year closes.
